Exploring the vibrant essence of Goa: Journey to Paradise
Recently I visit to Goa that's was very amazing trip. From it's sun-kissed beaches a vibrant nightlife and with culture history of cultivating plan of everything . My journey will starting the excitement and stop the unforgettable moment .In this article I detailed covering everything in my trip from starting point to last goodbye. Starting the Journey
I started my journey by the thought of going Goa. I decided to enjoy my trip via flight and then I boarded at the only Airport of Goa. It is located around 29 km from Panaji. In the flight I was feeling very excited as it was first time to visit Goa as a solo. As it was going to be best trip I ever had. I was visiting Goa so that I can know about its culture tradition and the hospitality of the people among there.
In this moment when I landed, I feel the aroma of the sea and the real beauty of Goa. I was awaited for the upcoming adventures that I'll gonna experience!. As i walked out of the airport I realised that why goa is so famous for its beaches and typical beauty!. I was walking around it and enjoying the local hospitality of Goa and was so amused by the people, how they helped me to reach me my way.
A common night to stay:
To spend my night in Goa, I decided to stay in an beachside resort. It has the beautiful view you'll ever have.The resort was fully comfortable and wasn't even that crowded,the hospitality of the resort was the best, they were helping in every way they can help-. The room was in the right place, I can take the front view of the sea and the mesmerizing sounds of the waves.
Exploring North Goa:
North Goa is a vibrant and heart of action of the people so I started my journey by exploring North Goa.
Baga beach:
In North Goa I started to explore by Baga beach it is the one of the most famous and popular place in Goa. Baga Beach is little more crowded then the other places as it is the locality favourite beach . My heart was filled with the mesmerizing sand dunes And The wavy beach as I am font of adventure I started to explore it by doing activities like Jet skiing and parasailing. I started to try the sea food near it and by chance it was the best food I have ever tried in Goa. There was a lot of things to do to make your journey memorable.
Calangute:
Not too far from Baga is Calangute Beach, another crowd favorite. The beach is much larger and a bit more relaxed compared to Baga, and I spent some quiet time here just admiring the view and sipping coconut water.
Aguada Fort:
Aguada Fort is one of the most famous Fort the North Goa. This Fort was made in 17th century to protect Goa from invasion hence it is an Portuguese Fort. I started exploring the Fort very freely. I was watching the view of the panoramic Arabian Sea. I decided to spend some time in this fort as it was an old place and was silent too! I spend my time by clicking amazing photos with the fort and the beauty of aguada. On my way I also met some of the travellers with whom I made my trip more memorable.
Anjuna beach:
When the evening arrived, I started to explore the Anjuna beach and its nearby market places. At anjuna's beach there were alot of artists, musicians, travellers and more to entertain us. When I explored the market there were everything like clothes, jewellery, handicrafts and much more to attract travellers. I bought alot of things from the flea market, I bought some clothes and the local handicrafts. I buy from there so that it can be the significance of the goa.
Visiting to Old Goa:
Next morning, I decided to travel the Old goa, if you're visiting goa then u must visit the old one for sure. I explored the one of the oldest monuments, churches being an significant of old goa.
Basilica Of Bol Jesus Church:
My personal favourite was the Basilica of Bom Jesus, it was simply stunning and is an UNESCO world heritage. It is one of the most oldest church in Goa. I visited another most famous church in Goa which was built in Portuguese- Gothic style named Se Cathedral. The ambience was so majestic and was truly spiritual.
As i walked more, I get to know about the bakers of goa, they were liked by every small to adult people. Maybe the eaters of bread had been gone but the bakers still exists today. They were known for their unpaid hospitality in Goa villages. By chance I found an baker of goa, I talked to him and bought an bread, and it was truly amazing and the taste was sweet and salty.
South Goa: one of the quieter places:
After exploring the crowded atmosphere of North Goa, I started to visit further to South Goa. I get to know that South Goa is known for its quieter, less crowded and simple beaches. Then I started to enter the South Goa to know more about the Goan life.
Palolem Beach:
First I visited an most unique beach known as Palolem beach and is famous as the paradise for nature lovers. I'm saying this beach as a unique because it is an crescent shape like structure and was so beautiful at first sight. It was surrounded by trees, white sand and the crystal clear water. To make my exploration more clear, I take a boat ride to spot some nearby locations for my next destination. I spotted some of the sea animals like dolphins, otters and more. It was an amazing experience.
Agonda Beach:
As my last destination in South Goa, I visited Agonda Beach which is known as one of the most pristine beaches. By my experience this beach was less crowded than others and the environment was amazing. I spend some hours here, enjoying the beauty of nature, peaceful surroundings and the wavy beaches sound. It gave me the peace and the way to relax.
Delicacies And cuisine of Goa:
To make my trip rememberable, one of the things were the food of Goa. Goa's cuisines is an smooth blend of Portugese and Indian flavours. Everything I had tried there was so flavoursome. From seafood to curries, drinks to tea, everything was rich in its own flavour.
Fish Curry of Goa:
First, I tried the famous fish curry of Goan people. It is served with rice and some salads. It was so delicious. The next dish I got melted in was the pran Balchão, it's in an tangy and a firey flavour. If you're fond of sea food then you must try these dishes. As an dessert, I decided to try the Bebinca, which was my best option to try it. It is an traditional Goan dessert made with coconut milk, eggs and sugar. I got melt with these famous and traditional cuisines of the Goan people.
If I talk about the restaurants of goa, it's ambience was so majestic. I tried variety of Goan foods. One of it was an Vindaloo, an spicy curry. Xacuti, coconut based curry and some fresh and fulfilling seafood like lobster and crabs.
Energetic nightlife in Goa:
Goa is not just about its food, monuments and churches; it is also known for its nightlife. The vibrant nightclubs of goa give me the infectious energy to enjoy.
Tito's Lane:
I went to an best place to experience this in Tito's Lane in Baga, is an clubs and pub. I stayed a night here by enjoying the ambience, DJ's music, hopping from one bar to another and dancing all night.
Wholesome culture of Goa: The Goa Carnival:
To explore the goa's culture, hospitality, I went to visit The Goan Carnival held once every year in February (winters). It is an huge event enjoyed by every local and traveller by big parades, dancing and music enjoyments. I interacted by most of the travellers in that Carnival.
Some Last minutes in Goa:
I felt a connection,as my journey is came to the end. I don't want saying good bye to Goa just because of its natural beauty, culture, foods, and its beaches.I was planning to visit an adventurous, relaxing and a beautiful trip, then I found goa to be my best option for it!. If you're fond of beautiful places to visit and to meet adventures then you must try goa as an best option. My journey to Goa will be an Memorial trip for my whole life as it has gave me the way to refresh my feelings and to know the unique cultures of Goa.
when I was going back to my home city, I was a little sad but also happy as I've the memories that I made in Goa. I'll never forget the shiny sunset, wavy beaches and the meticulous attention that I found in Goa. I'll surely revisit it as my vacation trip soon.
