Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra :

In this article a brief description about my journey, Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra. Recently I visited the Vaishno Devi. I describe to important points of this journey,how to reach there, ways to tracking, places to stay, best time to visit, real story of Mata Vaishno Devi.

Real story of Mata Vaishno devi 

Before the knowing about my journey, need to know,.The real story of Mata Vaishno Devi. shrine is about 700 years old. It significance the pandit shridhar story. The story begins with the headline when Shree Mata Vaishno devi herself had helped to organised a *Bhandara* at pandit shridhar's house. Later, it is said that mata amidst the bhandaara to escape bhairon nath she run and hide a cave name trikuta, after nine months Mata turn into her real avtaar and cut the head of Bhairon, where was head fell.There was a Bhairon nath temple .

It is said that "is compalsary to visit Bhairon nath temple after visiting the Vashno Devi temple .

Mata Vaishno Devi is a holiest pilgrim:

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi temple is a famous holiest pilgrim for Hindus. It is located in Trikuta mountain in Jammu and Kashmir.I heard about this pilgrim that, It is famous for its worldwide as moonh maangi Murad Puri karna wali Mata: whatever believerwish.everyone come here for fullfill theirs wishes. I'm also want to fulfill my wishes.

How to reach vaishno Devi:

My journey started with the way to get there. I reached Katra by Mata Vaishno Devi train from New Delhi railway station. It is direct train to Katra. But there other options are available to reach Katra. Let's know about it.

• by air :

By air is fastest way to reach there.

Located at distance of 50 kilometres, jammu airport is nearest to the katra. It is expensive than other options,If you afford it, then you reach fast here.

• by train :

The nearest railway station from jammu is udhampur railway station. Get a direct train to Katra from New Delhi railway station, Mata Vaishno Devi train.

• by bus :

Jammu kashmir state road transportation buses runs on daily bases.

Arrived in Katra: 

finally, I reached in Katra and start my journey.  Bhawan is 12 kilometres from Katra.There are two ways by trekking, "old way to the temple " and "new way to the temple" from "Banganga' check post. I choose new way to get there, because this route is less crowd .

Note:-It is compalsary to carry your

          R.F.I.D card, it will be checked 

          before starting trekking from 

          Banganga' check post. 

Banganga :

I reached Banganga' and take a bath in  the holiest place, I feel refreshing that moment. It is said that ,Mata Vaishno Devi turned back here to see Bhairon Nath is behind me. Mata wash her hair in this place,  then now , this place is called Banganga'.

Darshan at Ardhkuwari:

After trekking about 6 kilometres,I reached "Ardhkuwari" Temple. The Bhawan is 6 kilometres away from here,so that It's a halfway. It is said that Mata meditated inside the Garbh joon holy cave  before heading to the Bhawan.  here,I have done registration for entering the Garbh joon cave and issue my token. The waiting period is so long, after 5 hours I entered the holy cave Ardhkuwari. It is believed that passing through the cave is a spiritual rebirth.I feel it literally! 

Note:-Here, you can hire a battery car

           to Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan.  

           It will be changed

           ₹ 300 to 400 per person 

But, I continue my journey by trekking .

Finally arrived at Bhawan :

Finally I reached Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan. After arriving here, first I take a locker and room , which is easily available near the Bhawan for my belongings, electronics items, because it is not allowed in the temple. I have my registration slip without it you can't enter the Bhawan, which I get online before starting the trek.you may get it offline also from registration counter.

Entered the Temple:

There is organised a line system. A sepret line for man and woman. After waiting 2 hours, finally I entered the cave.

I felt a divine presence in the cave, chants of " Jai Mata Di" surroundings creating an atmosphere of spritual energy. The site of the holy cave, where the Godess resides filled my heart of gratitude and devotion.I feel like a Heaven. Long journey, crowds the  aura of Bhawan every step is worthwhile. Offering prayers,I felt a connection with divine and left a place with renewed sense of hope and positivity. This visit was more than a pilgrim, it is a journey of faith. I have blessed received a Darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi. 🙏

Exploring The Bhairon Nath Temple:

After darshan of mata vaishno devi, I  decided to go Bhairon Nath Temple.it belived that Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra is considered incomplete without  paying homage Bhairon nath Mandir . This temple is located in 2000 higher than Bhawan . By trekking I'm arriving at Bhairon Nath Temple. This is a peaceful place, where I felt peaceful surroundings of me. I'm also blessed with darshan of Bhairon Nath.

Bringing back of my journey:

After visiting and exploring all the holy places in Vaishno devi, and ofcourse after completing to visit Bhairon nath mandir, I decided to go back at my place as my journey was coming to an end. For going back, I had to take the same route which I had chosen earlier. I went back from Bhairon nath mandir by trekking only, from there I get to the katra again. After getting to Katra I got an train service and went back to my home place where I belonged.

If you're planning to visit vaishno devi, so here are some facilities and tips that can make your trip more easier.

Facilities and Tips:

• Helicopter Service:

 A helicopter service is available from Katra to Sanji chat, which reduces the walking distance to about 2.5 km.It takes 8 minutes.and 5-6 person in one time.

By ropeway: How much cost of ropeway 

You can also reach by ropeway Bhawan to Bhairon Nath Temple.it is good service.you can reach very fast by ropeway.

The cost of ropeway 

100 INR per person.

Right time to visit Vashno Devi :

Right time to visit Vashno Devi is *March to October*. You can visit Vashno Devi temple in this time 

It is best time to visit there.

Which time we should not visit vaishno devi 

However you can visit Vashno Devi all over year but * July to September*  is not right time to visit Vashno Devi.This time there is warmer temperatures, and rainfall, and some facilities are not available at this time.so we should avoid visit the Vashno Devi this time 

Facilities: 

Ponies, palkis, and battery-operated vehicles are available for those who cannot trek on foot.

 

My overall Experience:

As my Vaishno Devi Yatra has come to an end, I'll surely miss the trekking, the mountains and the typical view of the Vaishno devi. The holy places I visited in Vaishno Devi was so mesmerizing to me and they sounds good. Trekking was the best experience during my whole journey, it gives us an chance and opportunity to explore the nature more. During trekking everything was available from foods to health centers and tents to stay right there for a while. The moment I visited the Bhairon nath mandir my soul got so much desire and I got to an peaceful state of mind. This journey to Vaishno devi isn't a journey to an mandir but an devotional journey towards our religion and the local traditions we follow.
