My Visit to Haridwar: A Journey to the Spiritual Heart of India:


Recently I got a apportunity to visit the Haridwar, Uttrakhand. That's known as the gate way of God's. It was amazing experience, left a superficial empression on me. Haridwar is the most respected pilgrim destination in India. Haridwar is located at the bank of sacred River Ganga, a holy river of Hindus. Hindus called it 'Ganga Maiya '.this place is full of spirituality, culture and natural beauty. Recently got an opportunity to visit this secret place, I'm very excited to explore it. Here's a glimpse of my whole journey about this amazing pilgrim.

How I get in Haridwar:

My journey begins with excitement, took a flight to Dehradun jolly Grant Airport. It is a domestic airport in the center of city. After landing at airport, hire a taxi to Haridwar, which is easily available here.
Haridwar is well connected to trains and roads, you can reach Haridwar by train, car and buses also.

Arrival in Haridwar

I arrived at Haridwar in the sunny morning with the feeling of excitement. The things that struck me was lively atmosphere, sound of temple's bell, chanting mantras and sound like - 'Har-Har Gange', air was fragrant of flowers and aroma of incense,a spiritual retreat.

Exploring the Ghats in Haridwar :

• Har ki pauri :



I began exploring the Haridwar, my first destination was a very famous Ghat, 'Har ki Pauri '. It said that about this place " Lord Vishnu left his footprint, and it is here that the Ganga river is said to leave the mountains and enter the plains. The view of floting Ganges was beautiful, feel a connection with nature.

•A holy dip in the river-Ganga.






During my journey at Haridwar, the things that amazed me, the people was taking a bath in to the Ganges. it's a holy dip, seeking blessings and purification. the site was awe-inspiring and devotional. I also get into the river Ganges and took a holy dip.
It felt awesome and really refreshing that moment. The feeling is undesirable, the aroma of the place is enough to make you feel religious and traditional.

• The Witness of Evening Aarti-

Haridwar Ghat 'Har ki Pauri 'is famous for its evening Aarti. I also part of this devotional ritual ,.offering prayers..as the sun beban to set, The priests ready to perform the Ganga Aarti at the Ghat 'Har ki Pauri 'a ritual of offering lamp to the river Goddess. The chants, ringing of bells and more than thousand lighting Diyas floating on the river create a magical atmosphere, that was amazing. It was a mesmerizing experience, my heart was full of Spirituality.

Note- some important tips :

• Evening Aarti time :

The evening Aarti time in haridwar is 5:30 pm in winters and 6:30 in summers.

• Best time to visit to Haridwar:

The best time to visit Haridwar is between October to February as it is the best weather to visit Haridwar and the 
Temperature ranges between 7-22 degree Celsius. In haridwar there will be also an good experience and opportunity as it will be the celebration months of festivals like Dussehra 🪔 diwali..

Exploring the tourist places in Haridwar:

Haridwar is home to numerous temples, each with its own unique charm and significance. One of the most notable temple 

After visiting the vibrant views of Har ki Pauri Ghat , I started exploring the nearest tourist places in Haridwar . There are many famous Temples national park and Ghats. Mansa Devi Temple one of them.

Mansa Devi Temple :



First temple that I  visited in Haridwar, Mansa Devi Temple, located atop the Bilwa parvat hill. I took a cable car.ride  and reached here. This ride offering me breathtaking views of the Ganges river and city. The temple Mansa Devi is dedicated to Goddess 'Mansa Devi ' and people come here to fulfilled their wishes. It's a significance place and knowing about it's spirituality.

Chandi Devi Temple :








Visiting the Mansa Devi Temple, after a short trek I reached the another famous temple, ' Chandi Devi Temple ', which is located on the Neel parvat hill. This temple is dedicated to Goddess 'Chandi ,a form of Shakt. The things that struck me was intricate architecture and serene atmosphere. I felt a perceptible energy at this place.

Witness The Kumbh Mela:

During my journey I was fortunate to witness the Kumbh Mela, one of the largest religious gathering Mela in the world. It held at Haridwar in after every 12 years . I felt lucky to be witness of, the vibrant processions, ritualistic costumes and spirit of devotion . were truly captivating.

A visit to Rajasthan Ji National Park:

Haridwar not just a spiritual and cultural fervor, it also provides a serene escape into nature. There are many national park in Haridwar, Raja Ji National Park is one of them,  It is located at very short distance, I took a short drive to Rajasthan Ji National Park, a wilderness teeming with flora and fauna. This park is heaven for wildlife and offer the chance to spot elephants, tigers, leopards, and different types of birds. This experience was great.

Neel Dhara Pakshi Vihar:

Next in my trip is Neel Dhara Pakshi Vihar, located at the Bhimgoda Barrage. It's a bird-watching paradise. Here I saw different types and beautiful birds that made for a refreshing retreat from the city's hustle and bustle. I felt peaceful surroundings here, amazing experience.

Exploring The Local Culture:







After exploring every spiritual attraction during my journey, I went to experience some rich culture of the Haridwar. I enjoyed the local markets where there was alot of handicrafts, jewellery and crazy authentic foods. I tried one of the most famous "Kachaudi" and "jalebi" and the taste was fabulous. The combination of the sweet and salty was on the top and it was the best street food I tried in Haridwar.

Journey Come To The End :

I felt a sense of peace and fulfillment as my journey in Haridwar came to an end. It's spritual aura, natural beauty, richness of culture,had touched my heart. Haridwar not just a spiritual pilgrimage place, it's a place where one can find a connection with nature, Divine, and deeply understand of itself.

Leaving Haridwar, Its difficult but I carried with me memories of this beautiful journey, also carried a sense of Spirituality and appreciation for India's rich cultural heritage. Haridwar a place where visitors left with a story to tell.

Rishikesh is the very interesting place .It is very nearest to the Haridwar  you must visit there, Rishikesh has many holy places 

 Haridwar-Rishikesh distance 

  20 kms

Conclusion

In the end of my Haridwar Journey, I would like to say that it was an whole spiritual experience of essence. It offers an unique and cultural traditions that you might find great. I'll cherish this journey for a lifetime as it was an amazing experience during Haridwar, wether it is about the food or the views, everything offered and stunning and saturated bond.
