A Trip To Lucknow: The City Of Nawabs:
Lucknow is capital city of Uttar Pradesh.It is located in site of Gomti river. Lucknow is also known as the "city of Nawab" just because of its Nawabi history. It's a blend of old charm and modern elements. During my recent visit to Lucknow, I experience it's rich culture, history and world famous fine cuisine.
How to reach Lucknow :
You can travel to Lucknow many ways like -air, train, and road.
The nearest airport is choudhary charan singh International Airport located 12 kilometres away from the city. You can find the direct flight from all major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata.
Lucknow is large city,so there are many Railway station. One of them is Charbagh Railway station . Lucknow is well connected to trains all over India.It is a very affordable way to trevaling.I was choose also traveling by Train.
You can also reach Lucknow by road. Through the national highways. Taxis and buses are easily available from nearby cities like Agra, Kanpur, Varanasi.
My first Destination: Bata Imambara :.
I started exploring Lucknow with a visit to iconic Bara Imambara. This iconic place is also known for its Central hall, one of the largest construction in the world.
Bhool Bhulaiya :
Bhool Bhulaiya is a very attractive Maze in Bara Imambara that had me lost in history, literally! It said that there are many secrets.that 1024 ways to get in but only two ways to get out. It has a Tunnel that lead Agra and Delhi.
Exploring chota Imambara:
In little distance is Chota Imambara. This is a 19th century structure. This is also known as the palace of lights. It is known for its Glass Work intricate design. The Ambience of the Imambara was unbelievable. During Muharram Muslims came to this religious site and their tradition.
The British Residency
I remembering the India's colonial past the next task in my list was to visit British Residency. This Landmark had played and very important role during the 1857 Indian rebellion. The beautiful surroundings while lace Gardens will give you a mesmerizing into the turbulent times of the Uprising. When I enter the British Residency I felt that I had entered the historical past. This place was a significance for me as it tell a lot of story about the past happening
Hazratganj: The Heart' of Lucknow:
Hazratganj is a very interesting place.your trip was incomplete without visiting here. Hazratganj is also known as Heart of city. Its large market area is famous for its traditional chikankari embroidery, handicrafts, jwellery and Lucknow famous kababs. I exploring the market and spent hours to test delicious street food and buying some chikankari outfits as a memento.
The Gateway of Awadh: Rumi Darwaza:
One of The most famous landmarks in Lucknow is The grand Rimi Darwaza. Its height is 60 feet tall. It is also known as a Gateway of Awadh. Its gete is a symbol of the city's rich culture heritage. Its design is very impressive that make it a masterpiece of Mughal architecture. So you must visit here.
World famous: Tunday Kababi;
Tunday kababi of Lucknow is world famous food item. Your trip would be not complete without testing it this is a place where you testing it's mouth melting Galouti Kababs. It is offering variety of kababs and other traditions dishes richness of Awadhi flavours.
La Martiniere College:
La Martiniere College is a very impressive architecture.this is founded by Major General Claude Martin . It's stunning building and beautiful garden give a royal aura and making it is one of the finest college in India. There are studying a large numbers of students.
Lucknow Zoo; and stat Meseum:
Lucknow Zoo is a very delightful stop,if you trevaling with your family. It houses has various types of animals like, Tigers, lions, elephanta, Within the Zoo promise is stat Meseum, which offers insight rich history of region, collection of artifacts, and coin.
This is best place to children. They enjoy saw the animal in the Zoo,. and familiar with our culture, traditions and history in the museum

If you planning visit to Lucknow , the best time to visit Lucknow is -
"October to March " this is the period, that wether was pleasant. In the monsoon has heavy rainfall, and summer can scorching.
